    Mod/Admin application section.

Post  Guest on Sun Oct 02, 2011 8:54 pm

Hi guys just like every other server.. You MUST have a mod/admin application section to atleast tell you the qualities you may need to be considered to made a mod or admin Smile this is What most servers have a layout like:

    You must have this things:
    - Well known In game.
    - Helpful.
    - Atleast 2-4 hours A day In game and Mostly active On forums.

To even be considered a posability you have to:
    -Be respected by other players
    -Know the rules.
-Must be supportive to other players!

Thing that will decrease your chance...
-Pestering Anthhony or tom about it.
    -Spamming all over forums.
-Sucking up to other mods to get their respect.

In your application You should include:
    - How long you have been playing Sterling-Pro
    - How active you are a day/week on both client and Forums.
    - We will need to know your IGN and Your Forums name
    - What you will give to the server(E.g Support, Advise, Advertisement on other servers)
-Possibly a bit about yourself. (where you come from, Hobbies, Life-style etc etc..)

And FINALLY you should explain In no more then 50-100 words why you should be a mod.
(Do NOT act a mod In Game, Just act normal and help players as you should, and hopefully you should get Noticed by Players...
    Good luck Smile

I like the mod/admin requirements, but applications will become full of applicants. Look at sg, for exanple.

Nice suggestion to come with time, as I said before, the community is still small enough to where we don't need it right yet. But when we do I'm sure Tom was ahead of you on thinking of adding this. Nice suggestion though.

I suggest removing the "Admin" from the title.
    You don't apply for Admin.

You earn moderator and then after a period of time of doing well at the job.
    You get promoted to Administrator.

Then again, close mates of Tom might just get it so yeah.

Other then that, great work Katie.
